Profile
Specialising in gynaecological and breast cancer surgery, Dr Laura SABIANI developed significant expertise during her eight years of practice at the Institut Paoli-Calmettes. Her practice covers the full range of gynaecological and breast conditions, with particular attention to conditions of the cervix and to patients at high genetic risk. She has notably developed specific expertise in the treatment of ovarian cancer, using innovative techniques such as HIPEC and PIPAC.
A member of the French Society of Colposcopy (SFCPV) and of the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO), Dr Sabiani now operates at the Marseille Expert Centre for Gynaecological Surgery (CECGM).
Since 2025, she has also held the ESGO European examination, attesting to a high level of competence in surgery, medical oncology, radiotherapy and pathology for the optimal management of gynaecological cancers. Her approach is based on personalised, comprehensive care, combining surgical expertise with attentive support for each patient.

Experience
- More than 500 conisations performed, reflecting recognised expertise in the management of precancerous lesions of the cervix.
- More than 1,500 colposcopies performed, demonstrating extensive experience in the screening and diagnosis of cervical abnormalities.
- More than 2,000 breast cancer operations, with a personalised approach for each patient, ranging from breast-conserving surgery to complex breast reconstructions in collaboration with plastic surgeons.
- More than 1,000 gynaecological cancers treated, covering conditions of the uterus, ovaries, cervix and endometrium, with recognised expertise in oncological surgery.
